Members of Parliament
Several Members of Parliament who were blocked from attending the
budget reading over lack of COVID-19 results have finally been allowed access.
More than 150 MPs were earlier locked out of the Kololo Airstrip
where Parliament is currently sitting after their COVID-19 results delayed.
Dr Timothy Batuwa Lusala, the Jinja West MP said that their colleagues
especially from the opposition had been denied entry into Kololo due to a lack
of test results.
Dokolo Woman MP Cecilia Ogwal pleaded that for the 11th Parliament
to start in a good spirit, MPs whose COVID-19 certificates are not ready should
be given a special tent.

covid-19 status is not known are a danger to other MPs.
Oulanyah later ruled that the MPs, whose results are not ready should be given a special tent where to sit.

Kalungu West MP Joseph Gonzaga Sewungu says MPs were tested at
parliament but they are skeptical about the status of the Special Forces
Command (SFC) carrying out the tests.
On Monday, the MPs were subjected to a Covid-19 mandatory test in
preparation of the Budget reading. The tests had to be done to ensure that
everybody in attendance is safe.
