Mujib Kasule Tenders Resignation Letter to FUFA President

However, Magogo told URN this afternoon that he had not yet received the said letter. Magogo said he would only comment after receiving the letter.
Moses Magogo, the president of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations-FUFA has denied rumors of the resignation of  Vice President in-charge of the League Mujib Kasule. Inside sources in FUFA told URN last evening that Kasule had tendered in his resignation letter as a Vice President and Chairman of the technical committee.

 

According to the source,  Kasule said he would continue serving Ugandan football in other capacities. However, Magogo told URN this afternoon that he had not yet received the said letter. Magogo said he would only comment after receiving the letter. According to the FUFA regulations Kasule cannot be Vice President in-charge of the League now that his team, Proline FC was relegated from the FUFA Super League last week.

Hussein Ahmed, the FA spokesman also said he was not yet aware of the resignation letter. Despite his earlier denial Ahmed Hussein posted a message posted on his facebook wall later confirming that they had indeed received the Kasule’s resignation letter. When contacted about the said letter, Kasule said he was still help up in a meeting and promised to speak later.

 Kasule joined the FUFA executive about two years ago after he quit the Uganda Super league Limited.
