The 9th Guild Council at Muni University has launched cultural performances through Music, Dance, and Drama to educate the community about corruption and expose corrupt officials.

As part of their annual cultural gala, which brings together students from different regions of Uganda, the council includes anti-corruption messages that focus on accountability, transparency, and integrity.

These messages are delivered through performances that attract the community and local leaders. Wilson Chandiga, the University Guild President, emphasizes the importance of culture as a powerful tool for exposing corrupt officials and educating the public about the fight against corruption.

The theme for this year’s Muni University cultural gala is "Fighting Corruption Using Culture", with a focus on raising awareness and generating strategies to eliminate corruption.

Stella Amandru, the Dean of Students at Muni University, believes that student-led initiatives, such as those carried out through various student associations, will have a meaningful impact on the community.
