The Ministry of Health has donated an Ambulance to Njeru municipality. The ambulance comes just days after a request fronted by Yasin Kyazze, a candidate in the Njeru Municipality Mayoral race during a rally attended by President Yoweri Museveni.
At the rally, Yasin Kyazze, the National Resistance Movement-NRM party candidate told president Museveni that the municipality did not have an ambulance despite being located on a highway, which records several accidents.
The Ambulance registration number UG 4648M was delivered today by Dr John Baptist Waniaye, the Commissioner of Health Services in the Ministry of Health. Waniaye said that the ambulance will be managed by the Town clerk of Njeru but serving the entire region to improve health services delivery.
