President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has assured the
people of Madi sub region of his commitment to tarmac the Highway from Atiak
to Koboko through Adjumani, Moyo and Yumbe Districts.
Museveni, who is traversing the countrywide to mobilize
citizens for wealth and job creation, said he has now got money to seal the
He disclosed this while addressing public rally
at Moyo Boys’ primary school in Moyo District.
He also disclosed that the road from Yumbe to
Arua via Terego County and the security road from Pakwach through Obongi
to Dufile shall equally be sealed.

when the construction works shall commence.
Moyo District LC V Chairperson, Williams Anyama asked
the president not construct the road alone but also consider building a
bridge on river Nile to connect Moyo to Adjumani district and beyond to
facilitate the free movement of the people across the Nile.
He noted that the movement of the people
of Moyo District is restricted because of using the ferry to cross the
Nile, which operates on a time table.
