Medal hopefuls Solomon Munyo Mutai and Robert Chemonges failed the 2017 IAAF Championship test when they settled for 11th and 43rd positions respectively on Sunday night in London.

In a race won by Kenya's Geoffrey Kipkorir Kirui with a time of 2:08.27, Mutai came finished in11th place with a time of 2:13.29, while Chemonges recorded 2:21.24.
