Nebbi Excited Over Bobi Wine's Visit

There is excitement in Nebbi town ahead of the visit by presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi, who will be arriving fro Pakwach.

Popularly known as Bobi Wine, the NUP presidential flag bearer is expected to address a rally in Nebbi Town SS grounds this afternoon after addressing people of Pakwach early in the morning.

While security remains tight on most roads in Nebbi town under the command of the RPC West Nile, many supporters of NUP are excited over the first-ever visit by Bobi Wine to the district.

According to some of the supporter's URN spoke to at Nebbi town SS grounds, they expect Bobi wine to address key issues of poor roads, poverty, poor health and poor education services that have persisted in the Alur land over the last 35 years.

Meanwhile Lina Zedriga the Vice president NUP and also the coordinator of Bobi Wine’s tour of West Nile said they are determined to ensure the people of West Nile vote for a new Uganda under the NUP party.  She also commended the police for being professional in Pakwach and urged them to maintain the professional conduct.

From Nebbi, Bobi Wine will travel to Arua where he is expected to address a huge rally since it’s historical ground for him following the 2018 Arua where his driver was shot dead by soldiers at Hotel Pacific.
