John Wagabyalile Amurum, the new
elected Masaba cultural leader has called for unity and reconciliation amongst Bamasaba.
He made this call today during the cultural
council meeting where elections of three executive members took place at Masaba
cultural institution offices located at Malukhu, industrial city division in
The executive members who were
elected are Rose Nelima who was reinstated as speaker, Allan Muduku deputy
speaker Omaru Njofu as chairman cultural council and Alex Mwalya deputy cultural
According to Wagabyalile the current
fights between the factions of his reval Mike Mudoma against his will not yield
good developments to Bamasaba. He adds that Mudoma and his group, for
the good of Bumasaba, should leave their differences and come to work together for
Wagabyalile also urged the elected
members to have the heart of working for the Bamasaba on culture basis since the institution has no money to pay them.

also says that they were supposed to
elect these members last weekend by they had a meeting with minister of cultural
Peace Mutuzu during a reconciliation meeting between the faction of Mike Mudoma and Amuram
Wabayalila, both who claim to be genuine elected Masaba cultural leader, thus why
they pushed it to today.

Allan Muduku who was appointed as
deputy speaker expressed his happiness with the position saying that he is
going to work hard and bring unity to all Bamasaba.
