The National Resistance Movement-NRM leaders in Kayunga are
demanding funds for mobilization in the LCV Chairperson by-election.
Last month, the Electoral
Commission set December 16, 2021, as the election date for the by-election. The
seat fell vacant after Ffefeka Sserubugo, the LCV Chairperson for Kayunga
district, was found dead. His
body was found hanging by the tree, near his home in Kayunga.
the party has not yet revealed its budget for the election, the district party
leaders have warned the NRM Secretariat against snubbing them.

losing the seat if the campaign funds are not availed.
