In Kapir Primary School Polling Station, there is a struggle for votes as agents of Moses Olich Edepu and Teso Affairs Minister, Agnes Jaff Akiror and struggling to convince voters. The candidates are battling to become  NRM flag bearer for Kapir County.

The development has forced some members of the party to stay away from the polling station as they wait for the time to line up for their preferred candidates.

The candidates have pitched camps under trees where members are ferried with boda- bodas. As voters come, a team of young girls, presumed to be ushers welcome them as they convince voters to line up for their candidate.

In Koloin Trading Center, still in Kapir County, agents of Akiror are parading the Soroti- Mbale highway with photos of their candidate as they campaign for her.

Most of the polling stations visited by our reporter don’t have any single security official. Only LCs and some party officials are seen quelling angry voters.
