Fred Lwanga had planned to hold four campaign rallies at Mwena Landing Site, Kalangala Taxi Park, Lutoboka Landing site and Kifufu Village all in Kalangala Town Council.
The National Unity Platform-NUP party candidate for Bujumba County
has been blocked from holding a campaign rally in Kalangala Town Council.
Fred Lwanga had planned to hold four campaign rallies at Mwena Landing Site,
Kalangala Taxi Park, Lutoboka Landing site and Kifufu Village all in Kalangala
Town Council.
However, his rallies were blocked by James Mugoya Nandu attached to Kalangala
Police Station.
Mugoya argued that the candidate was not expected in the area. He
explains that according to the program submitted to the Electoral Commission
Lwanga is supposed to hold a political campaign at Bunyama Landing Site in
Bujumba Sub-County.
Mugoya advised Lwanga to approach the EC and revise the campaign program.
