Onduparaka FC has lost two of its pioneer
players to rival clubs in the Uganda premier league in the ongoing transfer
window.
Rashid Toha who captained the
club for more than two years has moved to Kitende based Vipers Football club
while Okot Oola has moved to Bidco Uganda Limited BUL FC all at undisclosed
fees.
Toha has been with the Caterpillars for the
last six years. He told URN in a telephone interview that he decided to
transfer to another club to try a new challenge and get more exposure.

Oola told URN that he decided to quit because playing environment at the club
was becoming unfavorable due to the game they won when Acholi province beat
West Nile province at the Green Light stadium in Arua town early this year.
Adams Lematia, the Club`s Public Relations Officer confirmed
the exit of the players, saying the club has already embarked on finding their possible
replacements.
He says the club couldn’t stop the players from leaving the
club because they were given better offers at their new clubs.
The
players helped Onduparaka FC finish 6th with 45 points on the 2018/19 Uganda
premier league table.
