Onduparaka, Express Draw 1-1 in UPL Match

Onduparaka Football Club on Saturday held Express FC to a 1-1 draw at Greenlight Stadium.

The visitors that played a spirited game in the first half of the match managed to secure a penalty in the ninth minute after Frank Kalanda was fouled by Onduparaka’s Jamal Malish. 

Kalanda’s penalty gave the visitors a 1-0 lead over Onduparaka in the first half despite the host’s efforts to secure an equalizer. 

However, Onduparaka’s fortune came in the 66th minute after it was awarded a penalty. 

Kabon Living sent the teammates into jubilations after converting the penalty.

But the ten-member team of Express FC managed to put immense pressure on the hosts. 

Viali Bainomugisha the Coach of Onduparaka FC said though they did not secure a win over Express FC, they managed to stop them from going away with three points.
