Vipers FC has been held to a goalless draw in a Uganda Premier League game played at the Green Light Stadium in Arua this evening.

The Venoms currently holding the top position at the UPL table exerted immense pressure on the home team Onduparaka FC in the first half of the game, which however yielded no results.

The visitor's side was powered by the former Onduparaka FC player Bashir Asiku and West Niler Fahad Bayo, a signing from Proline FC.

Sadik Sempijja, an Assistant Coach Onduparaka FC said the draw will not stop them from fighting to get back to the top of the table, adding that the players did their best for a win which wasn’t easy to come by.

//Cue in; Were fighting hard…

Cue out; have played well." //

Meanwhile Moses Oloya, the Vipers FC Goal Keeper Coach attributed the result to the lag from the long distance that the players travelled from Kampala to Arua, just a day before the game.

//Cue in; We haven’t scored…

Cue out...it cools you down." //

With the draw at home, Onduparaka FC now has 16 points while Vipers remain at the top with 21 points.
