The Savannah Regional Police Spokesperson Isah Ssemwogerere says that it is alleged a man who was learning how to drive the truck lost control on the playground and rammed into the house killing the teenager on spot as well as injuring two others.
One person died
and two others were left injured on Tuesday when a Fuso Truck rammed into a
house in Luwero town council.
The deceased has been identified as Racheal Nassolo aged 14 years who was at
home located near Luwero Boys’ Primary School Playground in Luwero town
council. Two others who were injured are not yet identified.
They were knocked by a Fuso truck registration number UBH 859N at around 8 pm.

others. He says that the residents arrested the driver and handed him to Police.
The injured were rushed to Luwero hospital for treatment and the truck was also
towed to Luwero Central Police Station.
On Saturday, two female juveniles died on the spot and another person sustained
serious injuries in a fatal road accident involving an ambulance belonging to
Kiwoko hospital and a Boda Boda motorcycle at Katikamu, about 49 kilometers
into Luwero district, along the Kampala-Gulu highway.
Last week, another person died and eleven others sustained injuries in a fatal accident
at Kakinzi approximately 69 kilometers into Luwero District along the same
Kampala-Gulu highway.
The accident occurred after a Scania Bus belonging to California Bus Company
Registration Number UAP 161F from destined for Arua swerved off the road to
avoid a head-on collision with another bus and Isuzu belonging to Nile Star Bus
Company.
