A village chairperson in Pader district is fighting for
his life after ingesting poison shortly after killing his wife and injuring
their son.
Bosco Nyeko, the Larego “A” Village LC 1 Chairperson in Pakeyo Parish in Laguti
Sub County is accused of murdering his wife, Lilly Atoo, and injuring his son
only identified as Ojok on Sunday night.

son in a domestic dispute. Shortly after the incident, Nyeko went into hiding.
However, Anywar told URN on Tuesday morning that the
the suspect was found lying unconscious next to his homestead with a bottle of
poison and foam oozing from his mouth.
Anywar says Nyeko was rushed to Pajule Health Centre IV
in Pader district where he is receiving treatment under the watch of a police
officer.

Spokesperson told URN that he was yet to receive information about the suspect.
