"Pastor" William Muwanguzi is back in court today for hearing of his two cases of impersonation and attempted escape from prison.

Kalisizo Grade One Magistrates court will also decide whether to grant him bail or not.

Muwanguzi applied for bail on health grounds. He claims that he needs check-up on his leg because he had bone replacement and metallic support was implanted to help him walk.

Kiwedde was taken back to prison on Tuesday for prosecution to produce more witnesses in the two cases.

Court expects the state prosecutor Miriam Akite to bring more witnesses today to testify in each case.

On Tuesday, prosecution brought Robert Ssemata, a prison warder attached to Kalisizo Government Prison and Wahab Ssemanda, a detective attached to Kalisizo police station as witnesses in the case of attempted escape.

In the case of impersonation which Muwanguzi is jointly accused with Julius Mukasa, prosecution produced at least three witnesses including Fr. Francis Muwanga, Fr. Joseph Tamale and Sandra Namuganyi.

Susan Awidi, the Kalisizo Court Grade I Magistrate, will be presiding over both cases.
