Residents dance with Usami.
Japanese Popular dancer, Yoshihiro Usami alias ÜSA landed in Moroto airstrip by around 9:00 am on Monday at the start of a five-day tour that will take him to Karamoja, parts of Northern Uganda, and West Nile.

Wherever he went, Usami was accorded a heroic welcome with songs and dances depicting the hunger plight in the region. He would then join the dancers with his breakdance and jumping like Karimojong.
Usami spent more time playing with children as showcased his dance strokes, attracting ululations and chants from learners, who kept tracking him. In all the schools visited, learning would only resume after his convoy left the compound.
URN brings you some of the pictures summarizing Usami’s tour in Karamoja.
