Hundreds of residents of Gulu district on Saturday took part in a marathon to create awareness on mental health and prevention of suicide.

The ten kilometres run was flagged off by Father Martin Agwee who represented the Archbishop of Gulu John Baptist Odama. 

 It attracted health workers and a leader across Northern Uganda, among them, was the Leader of Opposition in Parliament, Betty Aol Ocan and among others. 

 They raced through the streets of Gulu municipality from Customs Corner-Layibi-Cereleno-Ring Road to Pece Stadium.
