Pictorial: Head of States Arrive for Museveni's Swearing-in Ceremony

On Tuesday, nine Heads of State arrived in the country for the swearing-in ceremony of President Museveni. The Presidents included Salva Kiir of South Sudan, Ethiopia’s Sahle Worke Zewde and Alpha Conde of Guinea.

Others were Felix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Evariste Ndayishimiye of Burundi, and Hage Geingob of Namibia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo of Somalia, Nana Addo Dankwa of Ghana and Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe. The Presidents were received by ministers, officials from foreign affairs at Entebbe International Airport.

Other dignitaries included the Vice President of Sudan Dr Malik Agar Eyre, Ahmed A. Kattan, the minister of state for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabi and Mikhail Bogdanov, Special Presidential Envoy Deputy Minister Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.  

 

Others were ministers, special envoys and heads of regional bodies such as the African Union Commission, International Authority on Development (IGAD) among others. Uganda Radio Network captured the arrival of the Heads of State at Entebbe International Airport.
