Upon his arrival, He arrived in Kalangala, Katumba addressed voters at Bugoma landing site, before visiting Bugoma Police station, Mugoye sub-county and Kalangala Town Council.

The 24-year-old candidate accessed the island district through Bukakata aboard MV Pearl to cross from Masaka to Bugoma/Luku landing site. Upon his arrival, He arrived in Kalangala, Katumba addressed voters at Bugoma landing site, before visiting Bugoma Police station, Mugoye sub-county and Kalangala Town Council.

His first stop in the town council was the Central Police Station where 37 supporters of National Unity Platform-NUP presidential candidate have been detained. Police, however, blocked him from interacting with the NUP supporters.

After failed attempts to access to the suspects, Katumba carried out door-to-door campaigns inside Kalangala Central Market before he was blocked again by the police because he was allegedly attracting crowds.
