More than 600 traders in Mbarara City are counting losses after
Nyamityobora Market was gutted by fire.
The fire that destroyed stalls and kiosks started on Saturday at 4:30 am. It is
alleged that the fire started from one of the stalls in the market and
eventually spread to the entire market.
The destroyed items included fresh foods like Irish Potatoes, bunches
of Bananas, groceries, fridges, wooden Kiosks, among others.
