The clergy under the
Uganda Joint Christian Council-UJCC led a section of Christians on Good Friday
in the observance of the Ecumenical Public Way of the Cross.

and others observed the Good Friday ritual at St. Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe.
The Public Way of the Cross journey is annually
commemorated on Good Friday, a day observed to symbolize Jesus Christ’s
crucifixion and victory over death. It is observed during the Holy Week
preceding Easter Sunday when Jesus resurrected.
