Some of KCCA Structures yet to be renovated to house shops and the Authority offices in the Park
The old taxi park has acquired a new look following the renovation works by Kampala Capital City Authority-KCCA. KCCA contracted Sterling Construction Company limited to work on the carpet of the Park and periphery wall as Kiru Technical Services worked on the drainage system in and outside the Park.

So far, the pavement layer is almost completed with a small section left. The layer has been marked to enable taxis to park in an orderly manner. There are streets lights installed and steps constructed to ease the entry of passengers into the Park.

What remains is the renovation of structures in the park where KCCA intends to put its Offices. The toilet block and passenger shades are also yet to be constructed. KCCA shall also install an access control system at the Park.

The Park is scheduled for opening on 22 May 2021.URN visited the Park and brings you the Park's New look in pictures.
