The races in which people took part included the 5 kilometer, 10 kilometer and 21 kilometer. These were all flagged off by Buganda Kingdom's Prince David Wasajja. Wasajja advised Ugandans to avoid lifestyles that could lead to cancer and to go for screening because early diagnosis can save lives.

However, not only running was witnessed but pomp and excitement was at its best as participants were treated to music and fitness drills after running.

Uganda Radio Network-URN followed the event at Kololo Independence Grounds and now brings you pictures.
