On Saturday, thousands of people thronged Geya Primary School grounds to commemorate 23 years since the former rebel groups of Uganda National Rescue Front-UNRF II and West Nile Bank Front signed a peace accord with the NRM government.
President Museveni who presided over the Peace Day in Yumbe district also launched the first payment of the former combatants.
