Police Constable Detained For Defiling Colleague’s Daughter

The Kiira Region Police Spokesperson, Diana Nandawula says investigations are ongoing. “The victim has been examined and when our file is complete, we shall forward it to the Resident State Attorney for legal advice on the preferable charges against the suspect,” she said.
Jinja police are holding one of their own accused of defiling a colleague’s daughter. 

The suspect is 37-year-old Enoch Buluma, a constable attached to Busedde police post.    

Buluma, who is locked up at Jinja Central police station, is wanted for defiling his colleague’s daughter aged 12 years. 

The victim’s father, who declined to be named, says he is left his daughter in the custody of the suspect but he instead defiled her.    

“My daughter was bleeding profusely and on inquiry, she confessed that Buluma slept with her for two consecutive nights, which led to the heavy blood flow,” he said.

Adding that, “I filed a case at Busedde police post on Monday afternoon but after arresting Buluma on Tuesday morning; the file was forwarded to Jinja CPS.”
