Police in Bushenyi district are hunting for a S.3 student who went missing on Sunday.
Lovrlyne Agira-Embabazu, a student of Nyakasinga Che Secondary School was last seen by her parents at their family home in St. Kagwa, Bushenyi Municipality.
Martial Tumusiime the Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson says that the family reported her disappearance on Sunday evening after trying to trace her in vain. Tumusiime says that they are working closely with the residents to trace for her whereabouts.
Rev.Ben Jackson Bitungirwe, the father of the missing girl says that her daughter was set to report for a new term and had already prepared herself but only to disappear.
Rev.Bitungirwe adds that the family has also placed announcements on local radio stations but she is yet to be traced.
Edinah Bitungirwe the mother, says that they are confused since their daughter was seen in her usual moods and was excited about returning to school for her third term.
She says that her disappearance is affecting the family since her fate remains unclear.
