Police
in Gulu are investigating the sudden death of a 28-year-old inmate at the Gulu Main Prison.
Ismail
Oola who was on remand at the detention facility for alleged defilement died on July 9th.

says the condition of the deceased worsened yesterday, leading to his sudden death at
7:30pm at the detention facility where he was being held.

Mudong Ongom, the Aswa River Region Police Spokesperson confirmed the incident
saying the body of the deceased has been taken to Gulu Regional Referral
Hospital Mortuary for postmortem.
