Police Investigate Theft at Kagadi General Hospital

Hadali Kosayi, the officer in charge of Kagadi central Police Station said the thugs stole 10 computers, 2 power Backups and 2 projectors from the administration block of Kagadi general hospital.

Police in Kagadi are investigating circumstances under which thugs broke into offices of Kagadi general hospital and the African Rural University stealing 12 computers.   

Hadali Kosayi, the officer in charge of Kagadi central Police Station said the thugs stole 10 computers, 2 power Backups and 2 projectors from the administration block of Kagadi general hospital.   

The same suspected thugs also broke into African Rural University - ARU and made off with 2 laptops. The thugs reportedly broke into the two premises over the weekend on Saturday night. 

Kosayi attributes the break-ins to the negligence of security guards operating at the two institutions.     

He said three security guards one from Kagadi general hospital and two from African Rural University have been apprehended to help police in carrying out investigations.

Simon Peter Tumusiime, the Kagadi General hospital administrator says the stolen computers contained valuable data.
