The Police have launched an
investigation into the attempted murder of 21-year-old Ocen Felix, a watchman
at Hotel Alikin in Pader Town Council.
Jackson Bogere, the Pader District Police Commander (DPC), revealed that the
victim was discovered unconscious on Friday with a cloth tied around his neck and mouth and had injuries.
The police team, led by the DPC and
the Scenes of Crime Officer, visited the location and recovered a security uniform, torch, a broken arrow and bow, and two broken bottles.
A case of attempted murder has been
opened, and statements have been recorded from witnesses to aid the
investigation.
While no suspects have been apprehended, a sniffer dog led police to a house in Wee-Wii village, allegedly belonging to an individual
identified only as Okello.
Bogere says that Ocen is currently undergoing treatment at Numem Medical Centre.
