Police Struggle to Trace Injured Victim of Kitgum Road Crash

According to Joe Oloya, the Aswa East Regional Police Public Relations Officer, after the crash, a well-wisher rushed Lubangakene to an unknown health facility. However, despite efforts by police to trace him, his whereabouts remain unknown.

The police in Kitgum District are struggling to trace one of the victims who was rushed to an unknown health facility after a road crash. 

The road Crash occurred along Akara Road in Mucwini Sub-county, when Ronald Lubangakene, riding a motorcycle registration number UAV 114q, reportedly had a head-on collision with Geoffrey Todo, who was riding a motorcycle registration number UAT 347j. Todo tragically died on the spot, while Lubangakene was critically injured.

According to Joe Oloya, the Aswa East Regional Police Public Relations Officer, after the crash, a well-wisher rushed Lubangakene to an unknown health facility. However, despite efforts by police to trace him, his whereabouts remain unknown.

"We are appealing to anyone with information about the whereabouts of Lubangakene to come forward and assist us in our investigation," Oloya said. "We need him to help us piece together the circumstances surrounding the accident."

Oloya says that, much as police investigation is ongoing, the mystery surrounding Lubangakene's disappearance is hindering progress.
