Tuesday survived being beaten by angry parents for reportedly being too drunk.

was saved from the angry mob by area security committee who whisked him to
Atanga Police Post for safe custody.
The parents allegedly accused Komakech of failing to teach their children
because he is always drunk.
Charles Otim, the Lacor Primary School Headteacher says Komakech started
drinking on Monday but failed to report to class.
Otim says Komakech had been earlier warned by his predecessor over his conducts
of drunkenness but has never reformed adding that he has persistently been
reporting to school while drunk.
“We saved Komakech from being beaten by angry parents of pupils who were
already tired of his conducts. They had wanted to beat him and forcefully evict
home from the teacher’s quarters but I stopped them because he [Komakech] has
children,” says Otim.
According to Otim, the former school Headteacher had earlier written to the
district Education Department to consider scrapping off Komakech from the
payroll since he wasn’t productive in the teaching profession.
He says Otim’s actions are unprofessional of a trained teacher and immoral to
the young children they are striving to educate.
A security officer who didn’t want to be named since he doesn’t speak for the
Police says Komakech has become a burden to the community and the school.
He says Komakech had also threatened to kill and sell cows belonging to Otema,
the school’s Management Committee chairperson accusing him of plotting for his
removal from teaching profession.
Dickson Ojok, the Pader District Education and Health Secretary says that they
don’t condone such acts and have called for tough action against Komakech’s
