The Danish Embassy is insisting that the pictures of the bodies, if published, will bring more agony to the families of the deceased back in Denmark.

On Friday evening police deployed heavily around the islands of Byona Amagara and Itambira.
In the scuffle between journalists and security, Cox Nyakairu, the Kabale Resident District Commissioner told the press that it’s a directive from the Danish Embassy to bar journalists from taking pictures of the deceased’s if they are retrieved.
Nyakairu asked journalists to leave the scene and the information from the relevant security officials at the scene.
Elly Matte, the Southwestern Regional Police spokesperson says police has been given the directive to stop journalists from the incident.

On Wednesday, two Danish tourists drowned in Lake Bunyonyi as they were swimming 400 meters from the landing dock of Byona Amagara Hotel.
The two Danish nationals, Svith Thomas 21 and Durtin Sebastian 20, had arrived at Byona Amagara hotel on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the search for the bodies has entered day three but with no breakthrough. A combined team of the army and police marines are leading the search efforts.
