The Police canine dogs have tracked down and helped effect the arrest
of ten suspected robbers in Gulu City.
With the help of the sniffer dogs, the police spent the better
parts of Friday hunting for suspects in the break-in at an accessories shop
along the Gulu Main Street in Pece-Laroo division last night.
It is alleged that the thugs in the early hours of Friday morning
with the aid of metal cutting machines gained entry into the shop belonging to
Maxwell Bob Opio by cutting his door.
However, a night boda-boda rider who noticed the strange actions
of the suspects notified the police night patrol who then rushed to the scene
causing the suspects to escape before completely executing their mission.
