The Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, has pledged her
support for the establishment of a public university in Masabaland.
Among emphasized her commitment to collaborating closely with the Bamasaba cultural
leadership, asserting that a public university in Bugisu would greatly benefit
many youths who may have discontinued their education but aspire to obtain
degrees.

institution to assemble a delegation and personally meet her at the Parliament
