Sustainable Impact Alliance Solutions (SIAS) has teamed up with the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance to launch a digital tracking and rewards program aimed at improving school attendance and performance. The initiative, part of the "Rewards for Education" program, is designed to motivate students to remain in school by offering rewards based on their attendance and academic achievements.

Pastor Henry Byamukama, a key figure in the initiative, explained that the program will implement a point-based system where students earn points for each day they attend school. These points can be redeemed for various rewards, ranging from small items like balls to scholarships and holiday packages.

The program will span all education levels and includes a one-stop center for storing and accessing academic documents such as transcripts and certificates from anywhere in the country. Efforts are also being made to extend internet access to rural areas to ensure broad participation.

Pastor Byamukama noted that the program addresses common issues Ugandans face in accessing academic documents, aiming to streamline the process and reduce obstacles.
