Teen Suspect Breaks Out of Police Cells

Albert Gwaki, the Officer in Charge of Lusha Police Post, says the teenage suspect whose identity has been withheld by URN, had been locked for breaking into the home of Christopher Masiga, a prominent businessman in Namahe village.
Police in Bulambuli district are hunting for a teenage suspect who broke out of their cells on Boxing Day and escaped with handcuffs. 

Albert Gwaki, the Officer in Charge of Lusha Police Post, says the teenage suspect whose identity has been withheld by URN, had been locked for breaking into the home of Christopher Masiga, a prominent businessman in Namahe village.

 

He reportedly stole Shillings 240,000. According to Gwaki, the suspect was locked up Lusha Police Post as investigations were ongoing. 

He however, reportedly climbed in the ceiling of the police cell and escaped through the iron sheets. 

Gwaki says they have launched a manhunt for the suspect to answer for theft and breaking from lawful custody.
