Three Businessmen Arrested for Robbing UGX 50M From Police Station

Three businessmen have been arrested Mbale police is holding men in connection to a daring robbery at Nakaloke police station last week. The suspects are Sadik Ochede, Stephen Otim and Rogers Waniala. They are wanted for robbing of Gintel Patel, a cashier at CN Cotton Company shillings 50 million in a day time robbery.for staging a daring robbery at a police station in Mbale.

Mbale police is holding three men in connection to a daring robbery at Nakaloke police station last week. The suspects are Sadik Ochede, Stephen Otim and Rogers Waniala. They are wanted for robbing of Gintel Patel, a cashier at CN Cotton Company shillings 50 million in a day time robbery.

Daina Nandaula, Eastern Regional Police spokesperson says that police picked up Sadiki Ochede, the prime suspect from Club Oasis in Mbale who led them to his accomplices.  She says that security operatives have been trailing the suspects since Saturday when the robbery took place.

The suspects claim to be transacting business between Uganda and South Sudan. The suspects trailed their victim from CN Cotton Company in Kachumbala and robbed him of shillings 50 million at Nakaloke police station where he has sought refuge. The puzzled policemen looked on helplessly as they were reportedly taken unaware. Patel explains that he took off for his dear life and entered the police station leaving behind the bag containing fifty million shillings which the thugs took off with.
