Three LDUs Arrested for Assaulting Civilian to Death

Michael Odongo, the North Kyoga Region Police spokesperson, says the suspects were identified following investigations into the incident.

Three Local Defense Unit-LDUs personnel attached to Kamdini Police Outpost has been arrested for assaulting a civilian to death.

The suspects are Godfrey ogwang, Thomas Jolly Ipoka and Felix Okumu. 

They were locked up on Sunday evening for assaulting 65-year-old Francis Ogwang Munu, a resident of Amati village in Kamdini Sub country in Oyam District while enforcing curfew. 

Ogwang succumbed to the injuries he sustained following the assault by the LDUs. Michael Odongo, the North Kyoga Region Police spokesperson, says the suspects were identified following investigations into the incident.
