Kitgum Resident District Commissioner William Komakech says that the three family members were injured by a stick grenade that one of the minors picked from a thicket near their home on Sunday evening.

The family head, Francis Ocan, says one of the children lost an arm while another sustained injuries on the right hand and their mother who was cooking inside the kitchen sustained injuries on the thigh.
