Abudul Busito Magidu, the Buyangu Sub County LC III chairperson, has blamed the deceased’s parent for leaving the children alone in the house with a burning paraffin light.
Two children
between 10 years of age have been to ashes following a fire outbreak in their
parent’s home in Mbale district. The incident occurred at Bukikoso village in
Bubyangu Sub County on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased’s
father, who also doubles as the Bukikoso village LC I chairperson, Nasulu
Mulekwe says they left their children sleeping and when to the garden.
He explained
that by the time they returned they found their children and entire house burnt
to ashes.

Rogers Taitika, the Elgon Region police spokesperson, says police has launched
an investigation into the cause of the fire.
