This incident follows a similar occurrence just two weeks ago when four police officers from Moroto Central Police Station were arrested after an aggravated defilement suspect escaped from their custody.

The suspect, identified as Alfred Mukusu, was accused of allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl in Natumukasikou Ward, Moroto municipality. The police are determined to ensure the swift recapture of the escaped suspects and to address any lapses in security and custody procedures to prevent such incidents in the future.
