The International Monetary Fund says there are no indications that the Ugandan banking sector has any direct exposure to the toxic debt that has affected global financial markets.
A statement from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) released after the visit of an IMF mission to Uganda this week says the country's banking soundness indicators appear healthy.
