This followed a recent event in which a group of youth from the refugee hosting community threatened to lynch leaders of the Lutheran World Federation, the lead Implementing Partner of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees operations in Palorinya refugee settlement for terminating their contracts as incentive workers.
The head of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees sub office in Moyo District Theresa Ongaro has said they might be forced to relocate refugees to another district if the current hosting communities in Moyo District continue to issue threats against humanitarian staffs.
Ongaro made the announcement during a meeting between landlords and community members over the weekend.

Moyo Resident District Commissioner William Komakech reminded the incentive workers whose contracts have been terminated that termination of their contracts came with the end of the program for which they were contracted.
He encouraged the youth to reapply for reconsideration in the second phase of the program by another funder and then complain to him when their names don't appear on the shortlist. //Cue in: In the meeting at the ….

According to Daniel Akuti, one of the landlords it is hunger disturbing the youth to act in such a manner because the land they have been using has been given to accommodate the refugees hence no land to practice agriculture and other productive activities.
Akuti who spoke in his local dialect said the youth have apologized to them and that they have also extended the apology to the Lutheran World Federation that the youth will not misbehave again.
