man has been recovered in a sugarcane plantation, in Irundu town Council,
Buyende District.

Peter Kalulu, a resident says that the deceased could have been killed from
another place and the body dumped in the area.
Nathan Kalema, another resident says that Irundu is a fast-growing town
council, attracting nationals from different parts of the country, dealing in
fish, sand mining, cattle, and produce, however, the increased trade in the area
has given rise to increased criminality.
Kalema says that security personnel should intensify mobile foot patrols in the
area.
The Busoga North Police Spokesperson, Michael Kasadha says that detectives have
been dispatched to the scene to expedite inquiries into his death.
Kasadha says that efforts of tracing the deceased's relatives are underway.
