UPDF FC has maintained
its position in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League-UPL after holding Busoga
United FC to a goalless draw at the Njeru based FUFA technical center.
UPDF struggled with endless health breaks as most players grappled with fitness
challenges during the game played on Tuesday and managed to earn a point away

coach, Kefa Kisala said that some players who declined to play as substitutes
tactically disorganized his team. He, however, said that he was contented with
the day’s results.
Kisala told URN that their target is to be stable in the
league, adding that he is optimistic that their team will capitalize on the
points they hope to gain in the remaining matches to stay in the league.

Busoga United’s head coach, Abbey Kikomeko said that his boys
struggle to score and plans to reorganize the striking line, which will
eventually enable them to earn early goals in their next games.
that despite the fact that his team is still struggling among the lower clubs,
they are optimistic about surviving relegation.
