The Head of Women Affairs in Usafi Market, Vera Nakimuli says that it is not
the first time KCCA officials are arresting food vendors in the market. Nakimuli
adds that KCCA should explain why they don’t want vendors to serve food in Usafi
Park yet the park and the market support each other.
Nakimuli says as the market leader they were supposed to meet with KCCA
managers over the matter but were taken by surprise when KCCA law enforcement
officers arrested the vendors.
