SC Villa has dropped out of the Stanbic Uganda Cup at Bombo Military grounds after losing 2-0 to Vipers SC in their Quarter final return leg at Bombo Military grounds.

Two goals scored in the two halves by Bobosi Byaruhanga and Milton Karisa helped the Venoms to eject the Jogoos from the tournament and storm the semifinal. The first leg ended in a one-all draw.

The Venoms join BUL FC, which eliminated Proline FC.  Vipers got their first goal in the 27th minute of the first half through Byaruhanga before Karisa doubled their lead in the second half.

However, SC Villa was left a man down after Ronald Ssekiganda was sent off for a second yellow card. There were tense moments in the stadium in the second half as SC Villa players and the bench attempted to boycott the game after conceding the second goal.

They contested the second goal claiming that the ball never crossed the line. However, they calmed down later and agreed to resume the match. The two clubs however entered the clash with several issues as SC Villa were coming from a strike while Vipers lost their manager following his resignation on Monday.
