Kawala says that on Wednesday, Nakayima hired a vehicle, registration number UAW 850A, a Coaster Rosa, from Alex Muwanika, the driver. She adds that the suspect moved around Kazinga, Kyebando, and Nansana in Wakiso District, picking up victims from their parents and workplaces under the pretence of offering bursaries and jobs to work as matrons, cleaners, and security guards.
The Police in Kiboga District have arrested a woman for trafficking 45 victims in Kikooba Village, Bukomero Sub-county, Kiboga District.
The victims include 9 male juveniles and 23 female juveniles, aged between three and 15 years, as well as five male adults and eight female adults, aged between 20 and 34 years.
According to Wamala region police spokesperson, Racheal Kawala the suspect has been identified as Jessica Nakayima 34, a resident of Kazinga Zone
Kyebando Ward Nansana Municipality, Wakiso District.

Kawala said
that when they reached Namayumba she told the driver to proceed up to
the point she would tell him to stop. She reportedly told the victims they were being taken to schools in Namayumba and Kakiri affiliated with the Born-Again community. However, upon reaching Namayumba, she instructed the driver to continue until she told him to stop.
It is alleged that she led the driver up to Kikooba Village
Bukomero Sub-county in Kiboga District where they arrived at about 2:00 am at Good Samaritan belonging to Apostle Mitala

According to Kawala, the Headteacher did not have an idea about the victims and immediately informed the LCI Chairperson who later informed the police.
